This blog was made as part of a class on digital culture, and was made as a sort of two part response. I wanted to show how communication, and people in general, are actually not that different than we are today, it’s just the medium most people see history in can make them seems a bit artificially stiff and formal. The second thing I wanted to highlight is how all this digital media and social media is helping us change that. Hopefully you will be able to see that history is mostly full of people who were just as casual and weird as we are, sometimes even when they are trying their very best not to be, and will be able to find further resources that will allow you, should you want to, to even further explore the exciting, often funny and really weird, world of these ancient people.
